the worst thing happened in my lifetime when one of my closest friends died on her mother birthday The day she died everything changed i remember the call the silence after it and the way my hands wouldn’t stop shaking it didn’t feel real at first like my mind refused to believe it for weeks i woke up expecting her message her voice her laugh then reality hit she was really gone the pain was heavy deeper than I could explain But time didn’t stop i had to keep going even when it hurt some days I still think of her and feel that ache again but now I just let it be It’s part of me part of my story
