Hey, I’m really going through a tough time right now. It’s not just a breakup for me — I lost both a relationship and the best friendship I had. My ex and I were together for about six months. Honestly, I started it casually at first, but he fell in love and wanted to be with me forever. I told him the truth about everything, even about my age, but he still chose me. Later, he realized his family would never accept our relationship because I’m older than him. I still tried to save our bond every time things got hard, even when he started giving up. He finally ended things in February, and I was completely broken because it was my first real relationship and I truly wanted it to last. After the breakup, we stayed best friends and talked like before. For a while, things were fine — I even asked him to continue the relationship till I got a job, and he agreed for two months. Then we broke up again and went back to being friends. But recently, during an argument, I told him “you destroyed my life.” He took it as disrespect and ended our friendship too.
