Being alone doesn’t scare me anymore
It’s become the default setting the silence I return to when the world gets too loud
But even in that silence something aches
I don’t want to go through life like this walking through the days with no one beside me pretending it doesn’t matter
I’ve tried everything to feel something
 Music, movies, friends, late-night walks, short-lived connections all the things people say should make you feel alive 
But nothing sticks Nothing lasts
 The dopamine rush is always just a rumor I keep chasing, and joy feels more like a marketing scam than a real emotion

People talk about happiness like it’s a destination. Like one day you’ll just wake up and everything will make sense. But what if that day never comes? What if joy isn’t real? What if we’re all just distracting ourselves from the emptiness?

I’m tired of pretending it’s fine
 I’m tired of waiting for something to click 
Maybe I’m broken or maybe the world is Either way, I’ll keep moving 
Not because I believe in some happy ending but because standing still feels worse
