My stable friend group, but one is distancing

I must say that unlike others, I have a pretty stable friend group that I've known since I was a little kid. There are those whom I just met last year and I've been very comfortable with them, they're great people and friends. Recently though, one of my older friends was stuck in a dilemma and decided to distance herself away from us. It has been difficult as we always see each other along the corridors and just everywhere.
